CSV, QBO, OFX, and QIF conversions run as code in your own browser tab — the file is never uploaded, so there is no server copy, no retention policy to read, no breach to worry about. PDF statements are the one exception: they need AI to read them, so they are processed in memory on our server and discarded the moment your transactions come back — never written to disk, never used for training. For bookkeepers handling client data, that split is the whole point.

Does my bank data get uploaded anywhere?
No. The CSV is parsed and converted by code running in your browser tab. The only network traffic this site makes is loading the page itself and, if you buy a license, Stripe's checkout. Your transactions never touch our servers — we couldn't read them if we wanted to.
My bank's CSV has a weird layout. Will it work?
Almost certainly. StatementVision auto-detects the date, description, and amount columns — including split debit/credit columns, summary preambles, files without headers, European date and number formats, and semicolon-separated files. If detection guesses wrong, you can remap columns by hand and watch the preview update.
Which QuickBooks versions does the QBO file work with?
QuickBooks Desktop (all recent years) via Web Connect import, and QuickBooks Online via the upload-from-file flow. If your copy of QuickBooks rejects an import, email us the error (never the file) and we'll fix it.
